Hubungan Pengetahuan Asam Urat dan Kadar Asam Urat dengan Sikap Pencegahan Arthtritis Gout pada Lansia di Puskesmas Sei Panas Kota Batam Tahun 2022
Abstract
Background: The growing age is increasingly susceptible to various diseases such as gout rheumatoid. An arthritis gout can be caused by elevated levels of uric acid in the blood. The precautionary attitude of the disease will be more noticed by someone with knowledge. The purpose of this research is to know the relation of uric acid and uric acid levels with the prevention of gout arthritis in elderly in the health center of sei panas Batam city, in 2022.
Research Methods: The design of this research is quantitative using an analytical observational design, with a cross-sectional approach. This research was conducted in Health Centre sei panas. The study used sampling techniques in a total sampling with a sample number of 93 respondents.
Results: Based on the calculation result of 93 respondents, the univariate analysis of uric acid knowledge was 48 (51.6%) Respondents who were less, 24 (25.8%) Sufficient respondents, and 21 (22.6%) Respondents are good, and for the occurrence of uric acid there is 63 (68.8%) High respondents, and 30 (31.2%) Normal respondents, and for the prevention attitude of gout arthritis there 60 (64.5%) Bad respondents, and 33 (33.5%) a good respondent. For bivariate analysis with statistic chi-square test by taking Pearson Chi-square value obtained with p value = 0.032 (< 0.05) and P value = 0.001 (P < 0.05) can be deduced Ha acceptable, meaning there is a significant relation between uric acid knowledge and uric acid levels with the prevention of gout arthritis in elderly in the health center of sei panas Batam city, in 2022.
Conclusion: There is a meaningful relation between the knowledge of uric acid and the level of uric acid with the prevention of rheumatoid gout in the elderly in the health center of sei panas Batam city, in 2022.
